Madelyn's Maternity session

I absolutely love shooting mama's to be. There's just something so calm about them. Ok, I'm sure a lot of soon to be mother's are saying "CALM???? EXCUSE ME???? There's nothing calm about me right now!!!" Which I know is very true. So let me rephrase, during a maternity session, there is something so calm and peaceful about women who are expecting. I can't really explain it, but I see and sense it. They have a natural glow to them and they seem so at ease in the moment. It's just a picture perfect time (cheesy comment, I know), but it's the truth.

Madelyn, you are gorgeous when you're not pregnant, and I think being pregnant adds even more gorgeousness to you. I'm so proud of you and cannot wait to meet your new little bundle of joy.



I don't care what she says, I DID NOT make her climb this fence, nor did I mention it ! She told me she could "easily clear it" and I advised her that it was absolutely not a good idea!! So we shot in front of it :)



We walked through grass that was about 5-feet tall to get this shot. Well worth it, I must say!





I stole this love sign from her house. As soon as I spotted it on the wall, I knew I had to take it with!
