Photo Guest Books

I spent a tremendous amount of time trying to find a company that offered great photo books at a reasonable price. There are companies out there that do make AMAZING books, but my goal is to save my clients as much money as possible, especially when they are planning a wedding. And I just don't feel right charging them over $450 for a book, unless that is what they would like.

I'm not over exaggerating when I say it took me a good year to finally come across a decent company - and this was after almost 11 failures with companies who provided so-so books.

Another photographer mentioned Mixbook, so I did some research, ordered a sample book and, to my surprise, it was everything I had been looking for. The quality of the paper and image prints was exactly what I wanted, the layout and designs are very smooth and classy and, best of all, they are very, very affordable. Score!!!

The book you see in these images is Andy and Nikki's Guest Book. This is an 8.5 x 11 Hardcover book, complete with their favorite images from their Engagement session. The images are printed directly on the pages and the front and back covers are also printed right on the hardcovers.

After sending it off to be printed, this book was on my doorstep within four days! I've sent around 20 other books to this company within the last year and I am amazed at how fast their turn around time is (the only delay I had was right around the holiday season, which is to be expected). Other than that, the books usually arrive within 1-2 weeks of me sending them out for publication.

These books are definitely the way to go, if you ask me. And I'm seeing more and more couples ridding the idea of the classic all white guest book and turning to something that has meaning to them. These books are great because instead of being shoved in a box of "wedding memorabilia," couples are actually setting them out on their coffee tables, displaying them on book shelves or even creating a table piece from them.

The books can also be used for more than just a Wedding Guest Book. I've created Senior Session books, family portrait books and even a portfolio for another photographer. So they serve any purpose imaginable.

Let me know if you have any questions!
