This is why I love where I live
People are always complaining about this area. Granted, there are a few things I have negative feelings about as well, but overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to grow up. And I'm still proud to call Southwest Lower Michigan my home.
We live 90 minutes from one of the biggest cities in the country, we have an endless amount of history to be proud of, we have some of the best produce in the US during the summer months, and, we get to see some of the best sunsets the Midwest has to offer.
I took these images on Sunday evening after finishing up with a senior session. The sky didn't look too promising on our way up to St. Joe, as it appeared rain showers were on the way. Luckily, they stayed North and the clouds cleared away just in time. This is pure serenity. I immediately felt at ease.
